Insanity Workout Schedule – Day 61 – Max Interval Plyo

I’ve got a little rant for you on this Insanity Workout Schedule – Day 61 – Max Interval Plyo.  And it’s only because I’ve made it all the way to Day 61 that I can speak out on something like this.

During the course of my Insanity Workout journey, I’ve chatted with several individuals who told me, “Oh, you’re doing Insanity?  I did that last year.  It’s pretty good.”

Maybe it was their ‘matter-of-fact, nothing-to-it’ attitude that tipped me off but I just had to ask them, “Did you do the SAME Insanity Program I’m doing… all 63 days?  The Insanity Program I’m talking about has me drenched in sweat, drop-dead on the floor after each workout.”

What’s the old saying, “Ask and you shall receive”.

The answers I got not only were revealing, I found them to be – well, you’re just gonna HAVE to watch the video for the rest of my little tirade!

So, have YOU done the Insanity Program?  I’m talking about really DOING IT now, full-out for the complete 63-day cycle.

REALLY?

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!  Having done it myself (OK, 2 more days), I KNOW what a HUGE accomplishment that is.  I’d love to hear more about your experience.

If you haven’t done the Insanity Program but are thinking about it:

  1. Make sure this is the right exercise program for you (hint: it’s NOT for everyone – I definitely will NOT be doing it again!)
  2. Get yourself an accountability partner.  (my commitment to make these daily videos have worked wonders at keeping me on track)
  3. DO IT!

And if you haven’t done the full Insanity Program, but you love to tell others that you’ve “done it”, I have something to tell YOU… watch the video!  :)

Insanity Workout Schedule – Day 60 – Core Cardio and Balance

Are you kidding me? It’s Insanity Workout Schedule – Day 60 – Core Cardio and Balance. Did I say Day 60?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, YES – it was always my intention to do this Insanity Workout Schedule right to the end… but being severely ‘follow-through’ challenged, I am not only very surprised but also extremely delighted to have made it this far with only three more days to go!

More often than I care to admit, even my best intentions tend to go astray.  The big difference this time is that I’ve recorded myself and plastered my vids on YouTube and Facebook to keep myself accountable.  Hey, it WORKED!

I’m actually feeling bitter-sweet about the last day now rapidly approaching.  My wife Maggie will really get a kick out of this next sentence: I’m gonna miss doing these workouts and videos!  (talk about SHOCK value… I NEVER miss anything!)

So what’s AFTER Insanity?  Oh, I’ve got lots of plans, but you’ll have to watch today’s video to find out.  :)

Insanity Workout Schedule – Day 59 – Max Interval Circuit

Did you remember to follow yesterday’s safety rules on this Insanity Workout Schedule – Day 59 – Max Interval Circuit?  In case you missed it, here is a quick review:

  • Keep thermal heating in your room to a minimum by using heavy curtains
  • Use air conditioning if you have it
  • Use a fan for extra circulation to quickly evaporate your sweat
  • Drink more water
  • PACE YOURSELF!

As we approach summer and the weather gets hotter, you have to be even smarter in order to stay safe.  Just as an example, I saw someone out running at the peak of heat and humidity yesterday around 3:30 PM.  Now there’s Insanity… and then there’s stupidity!

Sorry for being so blunt.  However, I felt I wanted to say something because I was extremely hot and sweaty just doing the 7-minute walk to pick up my daughter from school.  I couldn’t imagine going beyond that level of exertion in the kind of heat and humidity we had yesterday.  It really is NOT the smartest thing to do!

Be safe so you can BE AROUND to enjoy and show off that great body you work so hard to achieve!
